We start by visiting your house before the move, to prepare a free written estimate of the moving costs.
We will note any fragile items, family heirlooms, antiques, artwork and fine furniture that will require special handling and care.
The artwork is noted, and we can bring boxes designed specifically for moving mirrors and framed artwork.
We can do all of the packing for you, or if you are looking to save money, we will give you some tips and pointers on packing your items.
If you decide to have us do the packing, our professional packing experts will be at the house the day prior to the move to pack up the artwork, mirrors, lamps, kitchen, any fragile items, and items that are loose in the garage and throughout the house.
The packing team will label the boxes and get everything ready for moving day.
On moving day the team will call before they arrive, and will then begin preparing everything for the move.
All of the upholstered furniture is first shrink wrapped, to keep it protected during the move. Then we place moving blankets on all of the furniture to be moved.
All of the items are carefully loaded into the truck, and then moved to the new destination. At Terry Moving and Storage, we strive to make your move as easy and comfortable as possible.
